As many of you reading this blog know, the cause of media reform is close to my heart. I believe it's as important to be critical consumers of the food we eat as it is to be critical consumers of the media we consume. And the trends in the food industry -- the concentration of power in fewer in fewer hands -- is mirrored in the trends of a media industry in which just six corporations control most of what we see, hear, and read.
